 RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College junior Devon Young of Monmouth Junction has been named the Division II Player of the Month by the New Jersey men’s basketball web site NJHoops.com.
Young, a 6-foot-3 forward/guard, led Felician to a 6-3 record in January. He averaged 16.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.9 assists for the month while shooting 49 percent from the field.
Young, the Golden Falcons’ captain, is first on the team and seventh in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference with 16.9 points per game. Felician is off to the best start in program history with a 14-5 overall record and sits in second place in the CACC North Division at 7-3.
