RUTHERFORD, N.J. – First-year Felician College softball coach Rick Krasny has completed his 2010 coaching staff, naming Weehawken native David Majewski and Victoria Berardi of Linden as assistants.

Majewski joins Felician after 10 years as the head coach of St. Dominic Academy in Jersey City. He accumulated a record of 191-70 during that time, leading St. Dominic to 10 state tournament appearances and five Hudson County Interscholastic Athletic Association championships. Majewski owns a BA in history (1996) and a master’s in administration and supervision (2001) from St. Peter’s College. He is a history teacher in the Glen Ridge school system and resides in Clifton.

Berardi also enters her first collegiate coaching position, directly off of a successful playing career at Bloomfield College. A four-year starter at shortstop, Berardi is Bloomfield’s all-time leader in hits and homeruns, and was a three-time all-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference selection. A former three-sport all-county honoree at Linden High, Berardi will complete her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Bloomfield in December.

Felician, an NCAA Division II member, plays in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. The Golden Falcons posted a won-lost record of 10-33 in 2009.
