NEW CASTLE, Del. -- Felician College freshman goalkeeper Allie Couzo (Sayreville, NJ/Sayreville War Memorial) was named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer All-Tournament Team following the conclusion of the tournament on Saturday at the Kirkwood Complex.
Couzo made a season-high 20 saves in Felician's quarterfinal loss at Philadelphia University on Nov. 3. She helped keep the top-seeded Rams off the scoreboard until the 63rd minute despite what eventually was a 42-10 shot disadvantage for the Golden Falcons. She is Felician's lone representative on the all-tournament team.
Couzo completed her freshman season with a 6-5-2 record, a 1.74 goals-against average, and two shutouts while appearing in all 17 of her team's games. The Golden Falcons posted an overall won-lost-tied record of 6-9-2, finished eighth in the CACC regular-season standings, and qualified for the conference playoffs for the second consecutive year.
