RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Felician College sophomore Kevin Sinic of Leibnitz, Austria, has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week, the CACC announced on Monday.
Sinic, a 6-foot-3 midfielder, had two assists in Felician's season-ending 1-1 week last week. Both helpers came in the Golden Falcons' 3-1 victory over Mercy College on Saturday, including one on teammate Quincy Small's game-winning goal.
Sinic finished his first season of collegiate soccer as Felician's third-leading scorer with six points on one goal and four assists. He transferred from Karl Franz Univeristy in Austria and has two more years of eligibility. The Golden Falcons had a won-lost-tied record of 4-13-1.
