Felician Athletics - 10/29/09 VOLLEYBALL - Doran Reaches Milestone In Loss

RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Felician College junior outside/opposite Amber Doran (Little Ferry, NJ) recorded her 1,000th career dig during her team's 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-15) Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division loss to visiting Dominican (N.Y.) College on Thursday night at Job Gymnasium.

Felician was held to an .021 attack percentage on the night. Dominican (20-8, 14-3), which held on to a tied for first place in the division, owned advantages of 43-22 in kills and 8-2 in blocks. Michelle Fiorvanti led the Charger offense by hitting .500 with 17 kills.

Doran became the second player in Felician's 1,000 dig club. She finished the night with 10 kills and eight digs. Felician fell to 4-24 and 3-14.
