RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Felician College junior Derienne Jacobowitz (Staten Island, NY/Moore Catholic) has been elected to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer Second Team, the CACC released today. The all-conference teams are voted upon by the league's head coaches.
Jacobowitz, a 5-foot-5 forward, is Felician's leading scorer with nine goals and five assists in 14 games. She has three multi-goal games, including a hat trick against Saint Thomas Aquinas College on Sept. 4.
Jacobowitz earned her second career all-conference award, after being chosen for first-team honors in 2008. Earlier this season, she became the Golden Falcon's all-time leader in goals, currently with 35 for her career.
Jacobowitz and the Golden Falcons have a won-lost-tied record of 5-8-2 heading into Saturday's regular-season finale against Lincoln University. They have earned a berth in next week's CACC Tournament.
