POMONA, N.J. -- Selected members of the Felician College women's cross-country team competed in the Collegiate Track Conference Championship on Saturday morning on the campus of Richard Stockton College.

Freshman Jacqueline Rivera (Haskell, NJ) was the top runner for the Golden Falcons, traversing the 6,000-meter course in 25 minutes, 58 seconds. She placed 36th overall out of 124 competitors. Senior Sophia Chick (Edison, NJ) narrowly missed the top 50, placing 52nd in 26:50. Also competing for Felician were freshman Alyssa Philhower (59th, 27:20) and junior Kaitlyn Minehan (Ocean City, NJ) (66th, 27:40).

With the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship meet looming in a week, Felician held out its top two runners, junior Sarah Root (Aberdeen, NJ) and sophomore Leslie Feola (Oak Ridge, NJ) from the CTCs. The Golden Falcons will look to continue a streak of four consecutive years among the top three teams in the CACC.
