RUTHERFORD, N.J. – High-school senior Jacqueline Rivera of Haskell has signed a national letter of intent to continue her cross-country career at Felician College, Felician head coach John Brennan announced today.
Rivera was a first-team all-Northern Hills Conference performer last fall for Lakeland Regional High of Wanaque. She qualified for second-team all-conference honors in each of her first three seasons, and is a four-time second-team all-Passaic County honoree.
Rivera is also a three-time all-conference selection in outdoor track. At Felician, she intends to major in nursing.
The Felician women’s cross-country team, a member of NCAA Division II, has finished in the top three in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference in each of the last four seasons. In 2008, the Golden Falcons were third in the CACC and 16th in the D-II East Regional Championship. |
