 RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College sophomore Devon Young of Monmouth Junction has been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Winter 2008-09 All-Academic Team, the CACC released today.
In order to be named to the CACC All-Academic team, recipients must have participated in a CACC winter championship sport, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been a student at their current school for at least two semesters, and have achieved a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.50 or higher.
Young is one of just seven student-athletes to be honored conference-wide in the sport of men’s basketball. He maintains a 3.70 GPA as an accounting major. The leading scorer for the Golden Falcons in each of the last two seasons, he was also a 2008-09 Second-Team All-CACC selection at guard.
