Rooth was the Felician baseball program's first four-time all-conference performer, including three first-team selections. While playing most of his career as a catcher, he hit over .400 three times, and his 210 career hits and .388 batting average are still school records. In 541 at-bats as a Golden Falcon, he struck out just 34 times. Rooth, from Bayville, N.J., was an all-region selection in 2004.
