PHILADELPHIA - The Felician College men's basketball team lost to host Philadelphia University, 59-52, in the semifinals of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament on Friday night at the Gallagher Center. Felician finishes the season with a record of 16-13, the second-highest win total in program history.

CACC North Division No. 3 seed Felician committed 17 first-half turnovers in falling behind, 21-5, with 16 1/2 minutes gone by in the game, and trailed, 23-12, at halftime. Still behind, 32-18, with 16 minutes, five seconds, remaining in regulation, the Golden Falcons put together a 15-2 run to pull to within one point at the 9:52 mark. But a dunk by Philadelphia's Mike Yocum (Dresher, PA) initiated a 10-3 spurt, putting the Rams ahead, 44-36, with 4:42 to play, and Felician never got closer than a six point deficit the rest of the way.

Golden Falcon senior Richard Fegins (Linden, NJ) led his team with a 15 point effort. Sophomore Devon Young (Monmouth Junction, NJ) and freshman Andrew August (Bridgewater, NJ) (eight rebounds) added 10 points apiece. Felician shot 25 percent from the field in the first half and 35 percent for the game. Yocum topped the Rams (24-5) with 15 points, seven rebounds and four blocks.

Philadelphia, the top seed out of the South Division, meets North No. 1 seed Bloomfield College in the championship game on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Gallagher Center.
