 DODD LODI, N.J. – Freshman Rebecca Dodd (Oakland, NJ) capped a four-run seventh-inning with a two-out, walk-off single as Felician College rallied to defeat visiting Georgian Court University, 6-5, in Game 2 of the teams’ Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference softball doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at Kennedy Park. Georgian Court, the CACC’s first-place team, earned a 3-2 victory in Game 1.
Felician (9-10, 3-7) trailed, 3-0, heading into the bottom half of the sixth inning when it received a run-scoring single from Meredith Rainer (Wantage, NY/Depaul Catholic) and a sacrifice fly from Dodd. The Golden Falcons then committed three errors in the top of the seventh, leading to two unearned runs for GCU. |

 BROECKER WATERBURY, Conn. -- Sophomore pitcher Nicole Broecker (Staten Island, NY) escaped a first-and-third, none-out situation in the bottom of the ninth inning to preserve Felician College's 5-4 victory in Game 1 of a CACC softball doubleheader with host Post University on Tuesday afternoon at LaMoy Field. Post earned an 11-4 win in Game 2.
With the international tiebreaker in effect, Felician's Jenna Krowl (Kearny, NJ) was placed on second and eventually scored on a passed ball in the top of the ninth. In the Eagles' half, the placed runner beat Felician's throw to third on a bunt attempt by the leadoff hitter. The next batter sacrificed runners to second and third, but Broecker recorded consecutive strikeouts to end the game. |

 DEGENHARDT ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. -- A seven-run sixth inning led the Felician softball team to a 7-1 Game 1 victory during its non-conference doubleheader with host Molloy College on Thursday afternoon at Lady Lions Field. The Golden Falcons settled for a split after a 7-2 Game 2 loss.
Molloy Game 1 starter Amanda Havdoglous (North Babylon, NY) carried a perfect game and a 1-0 lead into the top of the sixth, but Felician (7-6) exploded for six hits, and took advantage of two Lion errors to score five unearned runs. Golden Falcon shortstop Nicole Degenhardt (Secaucus, NJ) had two doubles in the inning. |
