6/11/09 SOFTBALL - Van Dyke Repeats As Academic All-CACC Honoree
Hope Van DykeRUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College junior Hope Van Dyke of West Milford has been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Spring 2009 All-Academic Team, the CACC released today.

In order to be named to the CACC All-Academic team, recipients must have participated in a CACC spring championship sport, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been a student at their current school for at least two semesters, and have achieved a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.50 or higher.

5/14/09 - School Softball Records Compiled
The Felician College school softball records have been compiled and posted under the "Records & History" link at left.

The school records are as complete as possible based on available information. The sports information office is missing the entire statistical record of the 2000 and 2001 seasons, as well as pitching statistics for the the 1997 and 2003 campaigns. Anyone with leads on obtaining this information is asked to contact Mark Mentone at mentonem@felician.edu.
 
4/25/09 SOFTBALL - Softball Team Ends Season With Split

BROECKER
LODI, N.J. – The Felician College softball team completed its 2009 season by splitting a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference doubleheader with visiting Holy Family University on Saturday afternoon at Kennedy Park. Felician won the first game, 1-0, while Holy Family rebounded for a 5-1 Game 2 victory.

In the day’s opening game, HFU junior right-hander Jody Searfoss (Weatherly, PA/Marian Catholic) pitched a no-hitter – but lost. Felician (10-33, 7-17) scratched out a run in the first inning when Grace Keller (Hoboken, NJ/Holy Family Academy) drew a leadoff walk, moved to third base on a throwing error, and scored on a Jenna Krowl (Kearny, NJ/Kearny) sacrifice fly.
