ESSEX FELLS, N.J. -- The Felician College golf team won the Caldwell College triangular meet on Monday afternoon, earning victories over Dominican (N.Y.) College and the host Cougars at Essex Fells Country Club. Junior Joe Leardo (Belleville, NJ) led Felician with a 77.

Felician improved to 3-2 in dual matches on the year, posting a four-man team score of 327. Leardo finished second overall out of 16 competitors on the par-70, 6,476-yard course. Junior Jason Smith (Gibbstown, NJ) was the No. 2 man for the Golden Falcons, firing his best round of the season with an 81 and tying for third place on the afternoon. Also contributing to the team score for Felician were were freshman Barry Tsouhnikas (Clifton, NJ) (84, 5th), and senior Rob Young (Glendale, NY) (85, 6th).

3/29/10 GOLF - Golf Team Begins Spring At Goldey-Beacom Invite

NEWARK, Del. -- Junior Joe Leardo (Belleville, NJ) shot a five-over-par 75 and freshman Barry Tsouhnikas (Clifton, NJ) added a season-best 77 as the Felician College golf team tied for ninth place in the 14-team Goldey-Beacom College Spring Invitational on Monday at the Deerfield Golf & Tennis Club.
