AVONDALE, Pa. -- In the first round of its 2009 spring season, the Felician College golf team lowered the team 18-hole school record by two strokes, firing a 335 on Day 1 of the Goldey-Beacom College Invitational on Monday afternoon at Hartefeld National Golf Club.
The Don Scalf Collegiate Golf Invitational scheduled for this weekend, hosted by North Carolina Wesleyan College and to include Felician College, has been canceled due to rain and a forecast for more rain in greater Raleigh, N.C.
PHILADELPHIA -- Despite season-low rounds from sophomore Joe Leardo (Belleville, NJ) and junior Jason Smith (Gibbstown, NJ), the Felician College golf team went down to defeat in a pair of dual matches hosted by Holy Family University on Thursday afternoon at Torresdale-Frankford Country Club.
SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Despite shooting a school record 337 on Day 1 of the event, the Felician golf team finished 11th of 11 teams at the Charger Challenge, which concluded Monday evening at Spook Rock Golf Course. The 36-hole tournament was hosted by Dominican (N.Y.) College.
