 CALISE BROOKVILLE, N.Y. -- The Felician College bullpen allowed one run on three hits over four innings in its 6-5 non-conference baseball victory over host Long Island University-C.W. Post on Thursday afternoon. The nine-inning game lasted two hours, 13 minutes, Felician's shortest of the season.
C.W. Post (22-14), ranked seventh in the most recent regional writers' poll, recovered from deficits of 4-0 and 5-1 to tie the game at 5-5 after six innings. In the top of the seventh, Felician's Anthony Spina (Toms River, NJ) led off with a single, reached second when a sacrifice bunt was mishandled, advanced to third on a bunt single and scored on Ray Rose's (Piscataway, NJ) sacrifice fly. |

 Chris Flynn homered twice on Tuesday. BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Senior Chris Flynn (Keyport, NJ) homered twice and classmate Ray Rose (Piscataway, NJ) hit a three-run homerun as Felician College defeated host Concordia (N.Y.) College, 8-6, in non-conference baseball action on Tuesday afternoon at Clipper Field.
Felician (17-21) scored first on a solo homer to left field by Flynn in the top of the second inning, but Concordia tied the score on Jake Irwin's (Cornwall, NY) run-scoring single in the fourth. Flynn's second roundtripper was the first hit in a three-run sixth inning rally, and Rose's blast capped a four-run eighth which gave the Golden Falcons an 8-1 lead. |
