NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Junior left-hander Danny Conti (Aberdeen, NJ) picked up his first collegiate save, stranding the tying and winning runs as the Felician College baseball team defeated host Palm Beach Atlantic University, 15-14, in non-conference action Thursday afternoon at Palm Beach Gardens High School. Felician (6-5) was playing its third metal-bat game of the season.

The game was tied, 6-6, after six innings. Felician scored three times in the top of the seventh, and PBA answered with two in the bottom of the frame. Both teams tallied twice in the eighth before the Golden Falcons appeared to put the game away with four runs in the top of the ninth inning. But after two were out in the bottom of the ninth, the Sailfish put together an infield single, a walk, and then four consecutive hits to pull within 15-14 and runners on first and second. Conti then entered and induced a grounder to first base to end the contest exactly four hours after it began.

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Felician College baseball team fell behind, 8-0, in an eventual 11-6 non-conference loss to Adelphi University on Wednesday afternoon at Feinbloom Field on the campus of Barry University. Later on Wednesday, the Golden Falcons were defeated, 16-4, by nationally-ranked Barry.

RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Felician College pitchers Albie Sanguiliano (Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central) and Victor Monteagudo (West Palm Beach, FL/John I. Leonard) have been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Baseball Co-Pitcher and Rookie of the Week, respectively, the CACC announced on Monday. It is the second consecutive week that Felician has nabbed two of its league's three weekly baseball honors.
