RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician College baseball team will play 10 games against teams which reached the 2009 NCAA Tournament, according to the 2010 schedule which was released today.
RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Evan Davis of Morristown has been named an assistant baseball coach at Felician College, head coach Chris Langan announced today.
Davis comes to Felician after one year as an assistant at Nyack College, helping the Warriors to the 2009 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference playoffs. He also is the head coach of the New Jersey Pilots of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League (ACBL), a wood-bat college summer league. He guided the Pilots to a runner-up finish in the ACBL in 2009.
RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Three Felician College baseball players – senior pitcher Phil Messerian (Fair Lawn, NJ/Fair Lawn), senior catcher Marcos Torres (Miami, FL/South Miami), and junior second-baseman Mickey Zudonyi (Holmdel, NJ/Holmdel) – have been named Preseason Division II Honorable Mention All-Americans by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, the NCBWA announced on Tuesday.
RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College baseball transfers Phil Messerian (Fair Lawn, NJ/Fair Lawn) and Joel Sanchez (Hialeah, FL/Monsignor Pace) were named two of the top 25 professional prospects in the 2009 Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League, according to collegiate summer league rankings by the scouting service Perfect Game USA.
