CONTI
NEWARK, N.J. -- A three-run home run by freshman Mike Farrell (Lincroft, NJ) keyed Felician College's come-from-behind 6-5 victory in Game 1 of its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference baseball doubleheader against host Bloomfield College on Wednesday afternoon at West Side Park. 4/1/10 BASEBALL - Golden Falcons Split Day-Night Home Pair
Mickey Zudonyi
Mickey Zudonyi hit a key three-run inside-the-park home run vs. Dominican on Apr. 1, 2010.
LYNDHURST, N.J. – Felician College scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to earn an 8-7 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference baseball victory over visiting Dominican (N.Y.) College on Thursday morning at the Lyndhurst Recreation Center. On Thursday night at the same facility, Felician lost a non-conference contest to visiting Southern Connecticut State University, 5-2.

Felician’s morning game was a make-up from Tuesday’s rainout. Dominican senior Tommy Maloney (Massapequa Park, NY/Massapequa), who had led off with a double, scored on a wild pitch in the top of the ninth inning to break a 6-6 tie. However, Jeff Calabrese (Freehold, NJ/CBA) started the home half of the ninth with a single and was sacrificed to second base. After an error, Phil Messerian (Fair Lawn, NJ/Fair Lawn) singled Calabrese home with the tying run. Another Charger error loaded the bases, and Alex Del Valle (Miami, FL/Christopher Columbus) was hit by a pitch to win the game.
