RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College junior Janelle Biamonte of Secaucus has been voted to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Women’s Basketball Team for the College Division in District II, as coordinated and selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Biamonte is the first student-athlete in the 13-year history of Felician athletics to make a First Team in CoSIDA’s Academic All-District Program. As such, she will be the first Golden Falcon in any sport to appear on an Academic All-America ballot. Biamonte carries a 3.98 cumulative grade-point average as a double-major in elementary education and English. She is in her second year at Felician after transferring from Montclair State University. |
