 RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Basketball student-athlete Janelle Biamonte of Secaucus has been named Felician College’s recipient of the 2010 New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (NJAIAW) Woman of the Year Award.
Biamonte and her fellow institutional and high school honorees were the guests of honor at the annual NJAIAW Woman of the Year luncheon on Sunday, run in celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day. Biamonte was also selected to represent the award winners as a speaker during the awards program. Following this year’s luncheon, held at Seton Hall University, each winner was recognized at halftime of the Pirates’ women’s basketball game against St. John’s University. |

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician College department of athletics, joining a national initiative by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), will sponsor “Pink Zone” Day for breast cancer awareness during the Felician home basketball doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 20, at Job Gymnasium against Goldey-Beacom College.
