RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician College men’s basketball team scored 24 consecutive second-half points to key a 75-59 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division victory over visiting Dominican (N.Y.) College on Thursday night at Job Gymnasium.
Dominican (8-10, 4-3) took a 31-29 lead into halftime on a first-half buzzer-beater by junior Almin Hozdic (Budd Lake, NJ/Mount Olive). After the teams traded hoops to start the second period, Felician held the Chargers scoreless for a span of seven minutes, 40 seconds. Junior guard Ryan Moseley (Teaneck, NJ/Teaneck) scored 10 of his season-high 12 points during the Golden Falcons’ 24-0 run, with his lay-up providing a 55-33 lead with 12:25 to play. The Chargers could only close to within a 12-point deficit thereafter. |
