RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Felician College men's basketball team is the No. 10-ranked team in the NCAA Division II East Region, according to the lastest regional rankings released today by the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Committee.
Under first-year head coach David DeFerrari, Felician (18-5) has won five consecutive games and eight of its last nine. The Golden Falcons have tied the school record for victories, and enter Wednesday night tied for first place in the North Division of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. Felician has secured a spot in the 2010 CACC playoffs. |

 YOUNG NYACK, N.Y. -- The Felician College men's basketball team tied the school record for victories on Tuesday night, winning its 18th of the season when it defeated host Nyack College, 80-73, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division action at Bowman Gymnasium. The Golden Falcons also clinched a berth in the CACC Tournament.
Junior swingman Devon Young (Monmouth Junction, NJ) led the way for Felician (18-5, 11-3) with 25 points and 11 rebounds. Young made 10 of 16 field goal attempts, including all five tries from three-point range. Junior forward Suquan Gary (Paterson, NJ) scored 19 points on 9-of-11 shooting. Felician matched the 2003-04 team, which finished 18-11 and won the CACC regular-season title. |

 OBERY ORANGEBURG, N.Y. -- The Felician College men's basketball team nearly surrendered a six-point lead in the final 19 seconds, holding on for a 60-58 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division victory over host Dominican (N.Y.) College on Thursday night at the Hennessy Center.
In a game which featured seven ties and 12 lead changes, Felician (17-5, 10-3) took control late with a 9-0 run, culminating with two Ethan Kennedy (Albuquerque, NM) free throws with 0:19 to go in regulation. Antoine Obery (Roselle, NJ) scored five points in the spurt, including the go-ahead basket with 2:32 to play. But Dominican freshman Leon Porter (Laurel, MD) converted back-to-back conventional three-point plays, sandwiching one Golden Falcon free throw, to pull the Chargers (10-14, 6-7) within 58-57. |

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician College men’s basketball team used a 56-point second half to defeat visiting Bloomfield College, 90-74, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division action Tuesday night at Job Gymnasium. Bloomfield is in first place in the CACC North and ranked No. 7 in the NCAA Division II East Region.
Junior swingman Devon Young (Monmouth Junction, NJ/South Brunswick) (10-13 FG) led five double-figure scorers for Felician with 22 points and seven rebounds. Kashiff Foster (Somerset, NJ/Rutgers Prep) scored 15 points, and Antoine Obery (Roselle, NJ/Abraham Clark) posted 13 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. The Golden Falcons (16-5, 9-3) moved to within a game of Bloomfield for the division lead with six games to play. |
