 KENNEDY RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician College men’s basketball team started the overtime period with a 6-1 run and hung on for an 89-84 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division victory over visiting Concordia (N.Y.) College on Tuesday night at Job Gymnasium. Led by senior Ethan Kennedy’s (Albuquerque, NM/Highland) 21 points on Senior Night, Felician (20-6, 13-4) reached the 20-victory plateau for the first time in the 14-year history of its program.
Concordia trailed, 39-30, at halftime and by as many as 10 points in the early stages of the second half before knotting the game, 45-45, with 13 minutes, 44 seconds to play in regulation. In order to force overtime, the Clippers came back again, erasing an eight-point deficit in the final 4:33, capped by a Brandon Whitaker (Harlem, NY) three-point field goal at the 0:03.4 mark. But Felician never trailed in the extra session. After Concordia cut a five-point deficit to one, Felician’s Ryan Moseley (Teaneck, NJ/Teaneck) nailed a three-pointer with 1:19 to play, and the Golden Falcons converted 7 of 8 free-throw attempts in the final 30 seconds. |

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician College men’s basketball team saw its 17-game home winning streak come to an end when it suffered a 95-85 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference interdivisional loss to visiting Goldey-Beacom College on Saturday afternoon at Job Gymnasium. Goldey-Beacom shot 62 percent from the floor in the win. |

 MOSELEY RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Junior Ryan Moseley’s (Teaneck, NJ/Teaneck) tie-breaking three-point field goal with one minute, three seconds, to play in regulation keyed Felician College’s 71-69 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference interdivisional men’s basketball victory over visiting Chestnut Hill College on Thursday night at Job Gymnasium. Felician broke the school record for victories with its 19th.
In a game which contained 13 ties and 13 lead changes, Felician (19-5, 12-3) built a seven-point lead with 26 seconds to play on five consecutive points from Moseley and two Andrew August (Bridgewater, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan) free throws, then nearly saw it slip away. Chesnut Hill’s Larz Jeter (Philadelphia, PA/Parkway) nailed a three-pointer, Felician turned the ball over in the backcourt, and with just over 10 seconds to go, Mark DeRugeris (Woodbury, NJ/Woodbury) made another three. After one Felician free throw, Julian McFadden’s (Philadelphia, PA/Chestnut Hill Academy) potential tying jumper from the right side rattled around the rim and came out as time expired. |

RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Felician College men's basketball team is the No. 10-ranked team in the NCAA Division II East Region, according to the lastest regional rankings released today by the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Committee.
Under first-year head coach David DeFerrari, Felician (18-5) has won five consecutive games and eight of its last nine. The Golden Falcons have tied the school record for victories, and enter Wednesday night tied for first place in the North Division of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. Felician has secured a spot in the 2010 CACC playoffs. |
