1/28/08 MEN'S BASKETBALL - Late Addition Barrow Shares CACC Rookie Honor

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College junior Sherrod Barrow of Harlem, N.Y., has been named a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men’s Basketball co-Rookie of the Week, the CACC announced today.

Despite an 0-2 week for Felician, Barrow averaged 12.0 points and 7.5 rebounds while shooting 64.3 percent from the field. In a Jan. 23 loss at Dominican (N.Y.) College, he shot 6 for 8 and recorded season highs of 16 points and eight rebounds. He shared the honor with Adewale Adefemi of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.

1/26/08 MEN'S BASKETBALL - Romer Scores 35 In Losing Cause
RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College senior swingman Jason Romer (New York, NY/Wadleigh) scored a career-high 35 points, but his Golden Falcons lost to visiting Holy Family University, 106-79, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference interdivisional men’s basketball action Saturday afternoon at Job Gymnasium.

1/23/08 MEN'S BASKETBALL - Felician Men Can't Cool Off Chargers In 93-81 Loss
ORANGEBURG, N.Y. -- The Dominican (N.Y.) College men's basketball team shot 58.5 percent from the floor and made 10 of 21 three-point attempts in its 93-81 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division victory over visiting Felician College on Wednesday night on Coach Baxter Court.

1/21/08 MEN'S BASKETBALL - Young Is Latest Golden Falcon On MBWA Honor Roll
Devon YoungRUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College freshman Devon Young of Monmouth Junction has been named to the Presto Sports/Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Weekly Men’s Honor Roll, the MBWA announced today.

Young, a 6-foot-3 forward, averaged 19.0 points and 9.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week for Felician. He had 16 points and 10 rebounds – his second career “double-double” – in his team’s 78-77 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory at Post University on Jan. 15, and followed with 22 points and nine boards in Saturday’s 91-89 overtime loss at Goldey-Beacom College. A 2007 graduate of South Brunswick High, Young leads the Golden Falcons and is second in the CACC with 17.5 points per game.
