RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College freshman Devon Young of Monmouth Junction has been named to the Presto Sports/Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Weekly Men’s Honor Roll, the MBWA announced today.
Young, a 6-foot-3 forward, averaged 19.0 points and 9.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week for Felician. He had 16 points and 10 rebounds – his second career “double-double” – in his team’s 78-77 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory at Post University on Jan. 15, and followed with 22 points and nine boards in Saturday’s 91-89 overtime loss at Goldey-Beacom College. A 2007 graduate of South Brunswick High, Young leads the Golden Falcons and is second in the CACC with 17.5 points per game. |

 FOSTER WATERBURY, Conn. -- The Felician College men's basketball team surrendered a late 10-point lead before coming away with a 78-77 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division victory over host Post University on Tuesday night at the Drubner Center.
Post's Omar Robinson (Brooklyn, NY) capped a game-tying 13-3 run with a three-point field-goal with just under eight seconds remaining in regulation. His team had trailed, 74-64, at the 2:15 mark. On Felician's next possession, Post was called for a foul during a scramble at mid-court, and Derrell Thomas (Harlem, NY) made one of two free throws with under four seconds remaining. The Eagles missed a contested lay-up at the buzzer. |
