Felician Athletics - Volleyball

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Junior Amber Doran (Little Ferry, NJ/Ridgefield Park) set a Felician College single-match record with 28 kills as the Golden Falcons defeated visiting Chestnut Hill College, 3-1 (25-23, 25-23, 19-25, 25-17) in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference interdivisional action Saturday afternoon at Job Gymnasium.

Doran gave Felician a 19-15 fourth-set lead with her final kill of the match, eclipsing the former program standard of 27 reached twice by Keisha Milstrey. She also added 17 digs for her fifth consecutive “double-double.” Two other Golden Falcons established school records for a four-set match: Nicole Degenhardt (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) with 50 assists and Erica Moore (Ridgefield Park, NJ/Ridgefield Park) with 30 digs.

NYACK, N.Y. -- Despite a season-high 28 digs from junior libero Erica Moore (Ridgefield Park, NJ), the Felician College volleyball team lost its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division match to host Nyack College, 3-1 (17-25, 25-14, 25-23, 25-20) on Thursday night at Bowman Gym.

10/13/09 VOLLEYBALL - Post Takes Four-Setter From Spikers

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Playing its first home match in two weeks, the Felician College volleyball team was unable to capitalize on a first-set victory on Tuesday night. The Golden Falcons lost to visiting Post University, 3-1 (20-25, 25-19, 25-19, 25-20) in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division action at Job Gymnasium.

10/12/09 VOLLEYBALL - Felician Takes Set From Owls Before Falling

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Felician College volleyball team took the second set from 17-5 Southern Connecticut State University, but the host Owls rebounded for a 3-1 (25-18, 12-25, 25-17, 25-17) non-conference victory on Monday night at Pelz Gym.
