 Keisha Milstrey had seven kills in Game 5, and 27 for the match, on Nov. 3. NEW CASTLE, Del. -- Senior outside hitter Keisha Milstrey (Bronx, NY) broke a 14-14 Game 5 tie with consecutive kills, leading the Felician volleyball team to a 3-2 (22-30, 30-22, 17-30, 30-26, 16-14) CACC interdivision victory over host Wilmington (Del.) University on Saturday afternoon at the Pratt Center. It was the final regular season match for both schools. With the victory, Felician (6-22, 6-11) qualified for the CACC Tournament for the first time in program history.
The Golden Falcons fell behind, 5-0, and trailed, 9-5, in the decisive fifth game, never taking the lead until Milstrey made it 15-14. Milstrey had seven Game 5 kills, allowing her to tie her own school record with 27 for the match. Felician passed Dominican (N.Y.) College (5-12) for the No. 4 seed in the CACC North Division in the upcoming league playoffs. The official schedule is expected to be announced late Sunday. |

 DEGENHARDT NYACK, N.Y. -- Sophomore setter Nicole Degenhardt (Secaucus, NJ) recorded her 1,000th career assist as the Felician volleyball team remained alive in the CACC North playoff race with a 3-0 (30-26 30-26 30-24) divisional victory over host Nyack College on Thursday night at Bowman Gymnasium.
With its win, coupled with Dominican (N.Y.) College's (5-16, 5-12) home loss to Caldwell College on Thursday, Felician (5-22, 5-11) would capture the fourth and final CACC Tournament berth from the North Division with a victory over Wilmington (Del.) University in its season finale on Saturday. |
