Felician Athletics - Volleyball

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College saved eight set points before winning Set 1 en route to a 3-0 (28-26 26-24 25-22) Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division women’s volleyball victory over host Dominican (N.Y.) College on Tuesday night on Coach Baxter Court.

Felician (2-11, 2-0) trailed the first set, 24-17, before rattling off seven consecutive points during the serve of Erica Moore (Ridgefield Park, NJ) to tie the score. Dominican thwarted the Golden Falcons’ first attempt to close out the set, but at 26-26, Megan DeLamater (Paramus, NJ) and Cristina Garcia (Miami, FL) recorded consecutive kills.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. -- The Felician College volleyball team was defeated by host Molloy College, 3-0 (25-14, 25-15, 25-20), in non-conference action Saturday afternoon at Quealy Gymnasium.

9/17/08 VOLLEYBALL - Golden Falcons Win CACC Lid-Lifter For First Time

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician College volleyball team jumped out to leads of 5-1 and 10-3 in the decisive fifth set of its 3-2 (25-21 22-25 27-25 22-25 15-7) Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division victory over visiting Nyack College on Wednesday night at Job Gymnasium. Felician won its CACC opener for the first time in program history.

After the teams split the first two sets, Felician (1-10, 1-0) saved a set point in Set 3 for a 25-25 tie. They went on to take the set on a service ace from Megan DeLamater (Paramus, NJ) and an Amber Doran (Little Ferry, NJ) kill. Nyack, however, recovered from a 20-16 deficit to win Set 4.
