11/7/09 WOMEN'S SOCCER - Couzo Named All-CACC Tournament

NEW CASTLE, Del. -- Felician College freshman goalkeeper Allie Couzo (Sayreville, NJ/Sayreville War Memorial) was named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer All-Tournament Team following the conclusion of the tournament on Saturday at the Kirkwood Complex.

Couzo made a season-high 20 saves in Felician's quarterfinal loss at Philadelphia University on Nov. 3. She helped keep the top-seeded Rams off the scoreboard until the 63rd minute despite what eventually was a 42-10 shot disadvantage for the Golden Falcons. She is Felician's lone representative on the all-tournament team.

11/3/09 WOMEN'S SOCCER - Felician Loses In CACC Quarters, 2-0
PHILADELPHIA – The Felician College women’s soccer team lost in the quartefinals of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament on Tuesday afternoon, falling to top-seeded Philadelphia University, 2-0, at Ravenhill Field. Felician ends its season with a won-lost-tied record of 6-9-2.

11/2/09 WOMEN'S SOCCER - Felician Draws Rams In CACC First Round
ImageRUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Felician College women's soccer team is the No. 8 seed in the 2009 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament. Felician has drawn top-seeded Philadelphia University in Tuesday's tournament quarterfinals.

The match will kick off at 2 p.m. at Philadelphia's Ravenhill Field. Directions are available at www.caccathletics.org/information/directions/philadelphia. There will be an admission charge of $6 for adults and $3 for senior citizens and students with ID.

10/31/09 WOMEN'S SOCCER - Explosive Second Half Leads Felician Past Lincoln

LYNDHURST, N.J. – Junior forward Derienne Jacobowitz (Staten Island, NY/Moore Catholic) had two goals and two assists as the Felician College women’s soccer team defeated visiting Lincoln University, 8-1, in non-conference action Saturday afternoon at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex. It was the final match of the regular season for both schools.

Felician freshman Jen Jimenez (Fair Lawn, NJ/Fair Lawn) broke a 1-1 tie with her first career goal on a header in the 28th minute, and her team took the one-goal lead into halftime. The Golden Falcons (6-8-2) then broke the game open with three goals in the first 12 minutes of the second period, and tacked on three more before the final buzzer. Jacobowitz scored or assisted on her team’s first four scores of the match.
