4/14/08 WOMEN'S SOCCER - Felician Signs Fair Lawn, Morris Catholic Seniors
RUTHERFORD, N.J. – High-school seniors Stephanie Jimenez of Fair Lawn and Shaneil Lorenzo of Dover have signed national letters of intent to continue their soccer careers at Felician College, Felician head women’s coach Erin Fitzgerald announced today.

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician College women’s soccer program handed out its three annual individual awards at the 2007 team banquet last Sunday at The Fiesta in Wood-Ridge.

Sophomore forward Jenn Ghiroli (Branford, CT/Branford) was named Most Improved Player. Ghiroli started 10 games and scored three goals, including one game-winner, this season, after going scoreless in three starts as a freshman. The award is given to the player judged by her teammates to have shown the most improvement either from last season to this season, or from pre-season to year’s end.

10/30/07 WOMEN'S SOCCER - Petry Named All-CACC

Lindsey Petry is Felician's first First-Team all-CACC women's soccer player in four years.
RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Lindsey Petry of Newton, a junior at Felician College, has been named to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women’s Soccer First Team, the CACC released today. The conference’s 12 head coaches voted on the award winners.

Petry, selected as a midfielder, started 17 games this year and scored nine goals and four assists for a team high 22 points. She ranks first in the CACC in shots per game and 10th in goals and points. She recorded two hat tricks, against St. Thomas Aquinas College on Sept. 8 and Concordia (N.Y.) College on Sept. 19. Petry started games at center midfield, right halfback, and forward for the Golden Falcons. She is Felician’s first First-Team honoree since Cortney Gavin in 2003.

10/25/07 WOMEN'S SOCCER - Women's Soccer Completes Season With Loss
DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- The Mercy College women's soccer team scored two goals in a two minute, four second, stretch of the first half and held on for a 2-1 non-conference victory over visiting Felician College on Thursday afternoon. The match marks the end of the 2007 season for Felician with a won-lost-tied record of 5-12-1.
