RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Soccer student-athlete Brittany Lohman of Nutley has been named Felician College’s recipient of the 2009 New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (NJAIAW) Woman of the Year Award.

Lohman and her fellow institutional and high school honorees were the guests of honor at the annual NJAIAW Woman of the Year luncheon on Sunday, run in celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day. Following this year’s luncheon, held at Seton Hall University, each winner was recognized at halftime of the Pirates’ women’s basketball game against St. John’s University.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. -- The Felician College women's soccer team was defeated, 3-0, by host Molloy College in the semifinals of the ECAC Division II Women's Soccer Championship on Wednesday afternoon at the Skelos Sports Complex.

11/10/08 WOMEN'S SOCCER - Felician Chosen For First ECAC Tournament

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – For the first time in program history, the Felician College women’s soccer team has qualified for the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division II Tournament. No. 2 seed Felician will play No. 3 seed Molloy College in Wednesday’s semifinal round at 3 p.m. at the Skelos Sports Complex in Rockville Centre, N.Y.

11/8/08 WOMEN'S SOCCER - Giordano Selected To CACC All-Tournament Team

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. -- Felician College senior forward Adrienne Giordano (Woodbridge, NJ/Woodbridge) was selected to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer All-Tournament Team following the conclusion of the tournament's championship game on Saturday evening.

Felician qualified for the tournament as the No. 6 seed, and was defeated at No. 3 seed Holy Family University, 8-0, in the Nov. 3 quarterfinals. Each quarterfinalist was represented with one player on the all-tournament team.
