Felician Athletics - Soccer (W)

Arianna Beam of North Arlington, a senior midfielder on the women's soccer team at Felician College, has been named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week, the CACC released today. Middletown native Amanda Scibetta of the women's cross-country team was named CACC Runner of the Week.

Beam led the Golden Falcons to a season-ending 2-0-1 week by registering a goal and an assist in each victory. Felician earned non-conference wins over Mercy College, 4-2, on Friday night, and Concordia (N.Y.) College, 5-0, on Sunday afternoon, both at home. Beam is the first CACC Player of the Week in women's soccer for the Golden Falcons since Jennifer Ramos on Sept. 22, 2003.

WOODS

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Makenzie Woods of Hasbrouck Heights, a senior at Felician College, has been voted to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women’s Soccer Second Team, the CACC released today.

Woods, selected as a defender, has played both defense and midfield for Felician this season. In 19 games and starts, she registered 12 points on five goals and two assists, good for third on the team. A four-year starter, Woods will graduate with seven career goals. She was chosen for the CACC All-Tournament team in 2003 and 2004.
