 RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College junior Paulo DosSantos of Toronto has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week, the CACC announced today.
Despite an 0-1-1 record, DosSantos played to a 0.45 goals-against average in two starts as Felician’s goalkeeper last week. In a non-conference game against regionally-ranked Molloy College on Oct. 22, he faced 29 shots and made 11 saves. He allowed a goal after a rebound off the crossbar with 1:51 left in regulation in the Golden Falcons’ 1-0 loss. Three days later, he helped keep Felician’s CACC playoff hopes alive, facing 20 shots in a 110-minute, eight-save shutout of Caldwell College during a 0-0 draw. The Golden Falcons were eliminated from the postseason by other league results the next day. |

 RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Lukas Fraczek of Szczytno, Poland, a junior at Felician College, has been named to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men’s Soccer Second Team, the CACC released today. The conference’s 10 head coaches voted on the award winners.
Fraczek, a defender, was honored on the All-CACC Second Team for the third consecutive season. The sweeper/center back started 19 games this year, scoring two goals with one assist. The Golden Falcons posted a 2.08 team goals-against average and three shutouts. |

RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Felician College men's soccer team has been eliminated from contention for the 2007 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference tournament. Felician's season ends with an overall won-lost-tied record of 3-14-3.
The Golden Falcons were pushed to seventh place in the CACC this afternoon when Post University (4-13-1, 3-5-1) played to a 2-2 tie with Bloomfield College (3-11-3, 2-4-3) at Bloomfield's Watsessing Park. The result gave Bloomfield a one-point edge over Felician (2-5-2 in league games) for sixth place and the final playoff berth.

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Junior goalkeepers John Plaugic (Kearny, NJ/Kearny) of Caldwell College and Paulo DosSantos (Toronto, Ontario/Sir Oliver Mowat) of host Felician College took turns making difficult saves to protect an eventual 0-0 tie in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference men’s soccer action Thursday afternoon at Tryon Field. The match was the regular-season finale for both schools. |
