 LICHT WEST HAVEN, Conn. -- Freshman Carlos Canido (Santa Cruz, Bolivia) and junior Quincy Small (Linden, Guyana) each had a goal and an assist as the Felician College men's soccer team defeated host University of New Haven, 3-0, in non-conference action Thursday afternoon at Kayo Field. It was the final match of the regular season for both schools.
Felician junior Juan Licht (Bogota, Colombia) opened the scoring in the 16th minute, putting a shot from the left wing into the upper right corner of the net. The Golden Falcons (6-10-1) took the 1-0 edge into haftime, and goalkeeper Paulo DosSantos (Toronto, Canada) made nine of his 10 saves in the second period for his fifth shutout of the season. |

 SMALL HILLBURN, N.Y. -- Felician College goalkeeper Paulo DosSantos (Toronto, Canada) made two saves and punched away a corner kick in the final 23 seconds of his team's 1-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference men's soccer victory over host Dominican (N.Y.) College on Tuesday afternoon at the Torne Valley Sports Complex. Dominican is ranked No. 20 nationally and No. 3 in the East Region in the most recent NCAA Division II coaches' polls released hours before the match.
Felician junior Quincy Small (Linden, Guyana) scored the game's only goal in the 15th minute. After the ball deflected off the Dominican defense to Small, he took a touch and unleashed a high shot from 24 yards away on the right side that hit the left side-netting of the goal at 14:35. The Golden Falcons were able to carry the 1-0 lead into halftime, then had to hold off the first-place Chargers, which owned statistical advantages in shots (18-9), and corner kicks (9-4). |

 Conrad Symber scored both goals in a 2-1 win at Nyack on Oct. 23. NYACK, N.Y. -- Junior midfielder Conrad Symber (South Amboy, NJ) scored two goals to lead Felician College to a 2-1 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference men's soccer victory over host Nyack College on Thursday afternoon at Mosely Field.
Symber broke a 1-1 tie with 33 minutes, 28 seconds, remaining in the contest with a shot from the right side that nestled under the crossbar. The Golden Falcons survived a 16-9 shot disadvantage, including 13-3 in the second half, to keep Nyack (6-11-1, 3-5) off the scoreboard for the rest of the afternoon. Felician goalkeeper Paulo DosSantos (Toronto, Canada) made all five of his saves for the day after halftime. |
