 RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Former Felician College men’s soccer student-athlete Mariano Gonzalez of Buenos Aires, Argentina, has been awarded a 2007 NCAA Division II Degree-Completion Scholarship.
The NCAA established the Division II Degree-Completion Award Program in 2001 to provide financial assistance to deserving student athletes with completion of a first baccalaureate degree. To be eligible, candidates must have exhausted their athletic eligibility and at one time received athletics financial aid. Gonzalez is one of 89 Division II student-athletes honored in 2007, including two from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. |
