RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Junior forward Peter Snihur (Ilawa, Poland/ Winchendon School [MA]) scored on a header with 0:02 left in regulation, lifting the Felician College men’s soccer team to a 1-0 non-conference victory over visiting Concordia (N.Y.) College on Wednesday night at Tryon Field. The win was the first in the collegiate head coaching career of Felician’s Patrick Snyder.

The winning sequence started when Concordia (4-10) was whistled for a foul about 45 yards from its goal line with 40 seconds to play. In defending Nash Townsend’s (Plainfield, NJ/Plainfield) free kick, the Clippers deflected a ball behind the goal line, setting up a Felician corner kick with 13 ticks showing on the clock. The Golden Falcons rushed to set up the play, and the kick by Jorge Cedeno (Lodi, NJ/Lodi) sailed to the middle of the goal mouth, where Snihur headed it past the keeper just before the final buzzer.
