RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Felician College sophomore Kevin Sinic of Leibnitz, Austria, has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week, the CACC announced on Monday.

Sinic, a 6-foot-3 midfielder, had two assists in Felician's season-ending 1-1 week last week. Both helpers came in the Golden Falcons' 3-1 victory over Mercy College on Saturday, including one on teammate Quincy Small's game-winning goal.

10/31/09 MEN'S SOCCER - Men's Soccer Finishes With 3-1 Win Over Mercy

LYNDHURST, N.J. – Three different seniors scored goals for the Felician College men’s soccer team in its season-ending 3-1 non-conference Senior Day victory over visiting Mercy College on Saturday afternoon at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex.

Diego Ocampo (Dover, NJ/Dover) sealed the win for the Golden Falcons with a 78th minute goal. Ocampo received a pass across the box from Kevin Sinic (Leibnitz, Austria/Borg Honsberger) and buried a shot into the upper left corner of the net. He scored just one minute, 58 seconds, after Mercy junior Artiz Artoni (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Ejo Maq) had cut the Felician lead to 2-1.

10/27/09 MEN'S SOCCER - Lo Bue Selected CACC Rookie Of The Week
David Lo BueRUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Felician College freshman David Lo Bue of Elmwood Park has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week, the CACC announced today.

Lo Bue, a 5-foot-8 goalkeeper, helped the Golden Falcons to a 1-1 record last week, making six saves in each game. On Wednesday, he recorded his first career shutout in a 1-0 road victory over Concordia (N.Y.) College. He and Felician came within five minutes of forcing overtime in a 2-1 loss at nationally-ranked Wilmington (Del.) University on Saturday.
