RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Felician College defense limited visiting Chesnut Hill College to one shot attempt and no corner kicks in Felician's 1-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference men's soccer victory on Saturday afternoon at Tryon Field.

Golden Falcon freshman Carlos Canido (Santa Cruz, Bolivia/Tahuichi Academy) scored the game's only goal with two minutes, 14 seconds, remaining in the first half. Canido settled a pass from Joe Peters (Barnegat, NJ/Southern Regional) and buried the ball inside the left post. Mike Azzato (Staten Island, NY/St. Joseph by-the-Sea) also assisted on the play. Felician (3-3, 1-1) owned a 15-1 shot advantage on the day, but Canido's scoring play was one of only two shots on goal.

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College scored two minutes, 53 seconds, into the contest and 20 seconds into the second half, but could not hold off an explosive Bloomfield College offense in its 4-2 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference men’s soccer loss to the visiting Deacons on Thursday night at Tryon Field.
