RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College freshman Rob Albano of Pompton Plains has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men’s Cross-Country Rookie of the Week, the CACC announced today. Albano has won that honor four times out of five weeks this season.

9/28/09 MEN'S CROSS-COUNTRY - Albano Repeats As CACC Runner Of The Week

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College freshman Rob Albano of Pompton Plains has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men’s Cross-Country Runner of the Week, the CACC announced today. He has won that award for the second consecutive week and the third time this season.

Albano won the Philadelphia Metro Small College Invitational on Saturday, his first career individual victory. At Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, he beat 123 other entrants to the finish line with a time of 26 minutes, 21 seconds, for 8,000 meters.
