11/5/07 MEN'S CROSS-COUNTRY - Golden Falcons Sweep Final Set Of CACC Weekly Awards
RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College senior Paul Chegwidden of Hamburg has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men’s Cross-Country Runner of the Week, the CACC announced today. Felician freshman Jay Rodgers of Westmont was selected as CACC Men’s Rookie of the Week. It was the CACC’s final set of weekly awards for the 2007 season.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- The Felician men's cross-country team ran in a tight pack to end its season by placing 15th out of 26 schools at the NCAA Division II East Regional Championship on Saturday afternoon on the campus of Lock Haven University.

10/20/07 MEN'S CROSS-COUNTRY - Felician Sweeps Individual CACC Year-End Awards

PHILADELPHIA -- Felician College has earned all-three individual year-end men's cross-country awards from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. The honors were handed out following Saturday's CACC Championship meet at Fairmount Park.

Senior Paul Chegwidden (Hamburg, NJ/Wallkill Valley) was named CACC Men's Runner of the Year after winning the conference championship race, which contained 64 entrants. Chegwidden completed 8,000 meters (five miles) in 26 minutes, 35 seconds, defeating his nearest opponent by more than 54 seconds. He also broke the meet record by five seconds. Chegwidden earned all-CACC honors for the third time in his career.
