Felician Athletics - Cross Country (M)

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Two Felician College alumni, and former members of the men’s cross-country team, completed the New York City Marathon on Nov. 1.

Mike Burghoffer ’08 and Jonathan Castro ’08 each broke three hours for the day, and each placed among the top 1,000 finishers in a race that attracted more than 44,000 male entrants from all over the world.

BOSTON -- Freshman Taylor Trumbetti (Woodcliff Lake, NJ) was the No. 1 runner for the Felician College men's cross-country team at the 2009 NCAA Division II East Regional Championship, hosted by the University of Massachusetts Lowell on Sunday afternoon at Franklin Park.

PHILADELPHIA – Felician College junior Jay Rodgers (Westmont, NJ/Haddon Township) and sophomore James Vander Wiele (Pequannock, NJ/Pequannock Township) attained all-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference status at Saturday morning’s CACC Men’s Cross-Country Championship, co-hosted by the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and Philadelphia University at Belmont Plateau. Following the meet, Felician head coach John Brennan of Clark was voted CACC Coach of the Year by his peers.
