3/1/10 MEN'S BASKETBALL - Men's Basketball Advances In CACC Tournament

RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Felician College men’s basketball team advanced to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference semifinals with a 69-58 first-round victory over visiting Dominican (N.Y.) College on Monday night at Job Gymnasium.

Felician, the No. 2 seed from the CACC North Division, will take on Philadelphia University, the top seed from the CACC South, on Friday at noon at Caldwell College in Caldwell, N.J. Felician (22-6) has reached the league semifinals, and will meet Philadelphia in that round, for the second consecutive year.

2/28/10 MEN'S BASKETBALL - Felician Men Draw Dominican In CACC First Round
CACCRUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician College men’s basketball team has qualified for the 2010 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament as the No. 2 seed out of the North Division. Felician will host the North’s No. 3 seed, Dominican (N.Y.) College, in a first-round playoff game on Monday night at Job Gymnasium on Felician’s Rutherford Campus.

2/28/10 BASEBALL - Felician Strikes Early In 7-3 Win Over Molloy

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Senior catcher Marcos Torres (Miami, FL) had three hits and three runs batted in as the Felician College baseball team defeated Molloy College, 7-3, in non-conference action Sunday morning at the Ripken Experience complex. It was the final game for both teams at the three-day Northeast Challenge.

All of Felician’s offense came early, as the Golden Falcons led, 7-1, after four innings. Torres had an RBI infield single in the first inning and a two-run double in his team’s three-run third. Phil Messerian (Fair Lawn, NJ) (two RBI) and Vince Kossak (Lake Worth, FL) (two stolen bases) each went 2 for 4 with a double, as Felician blasted five two-baggers among an 11-hit attack.

2/27/10 BASEBALL - Baseball Loses Pair Of Tight Games
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- The Felician College baseball team lost a pair of close non-conference games during the Northeast Challege on Saturday at the Ripken Experience complex. Felician (1-6) fell to Post University, 8-6, in morning action before suffering a 5-4 loss to nationally-ranked West Chester University in the afternoon.
