11/20/09 MEN'S BASKETBALL - Golden Falcons Down St. Paul's, 62-58

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Felician College men's basketball team outscored St. Paul's College, 9-5, in the final four minutes of its 62-58 non-conference victory on Friday night at Brayboy Gymnasium. The game was part of the Wendy's/Claude Saunders Tip-Off Classic, hosted by Johnson C. Smith University

Junior Suquan Gary (Paterson, NJ) gave Felician the lead for good, breaking a 53-53 tie with three minutes, 35 seconds remaining in regulation. Andrew August (Bridgewater, NJ) and Gary then blocked St. Paul's shots on consecutive possessions. The Golden Falcons (2-0) led by four with 0:24 to play when SPC's Kendrick Williams (Winston Salem, NC) buried a three-point field goal. After one Devon Young (Monmouth Junction, NJ) free throw, the Tigers missed on a go-ahead three-point attempt in the closing seconds.

11/20/09 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL - Felician Drops Opener At Assumption, 65-55
WORCESTER, Mass. – Despite 18 points and six rebounds from junior Quay Baskerville (Hartford, CT), the Felician College women’s basketball team lost its 2009-10 season opener to host Assumption College on Friday night at Laska Gymnasium. The game was part of the Courtyard Marriott Classic, hosted by Assumption.

11/17/09 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL - 2009-10 Outlook: Coaches Seek Intensity, Consistency
ImageThe Felician College women’s basketball team made modest improvements last year, its first under head coach Steve Fagan. With six new faces on the 2009-10 roster, the Golden Falcons hope to continue the upward trend.

Fagan and his staff needed to replenish the personnel after six seniors were lost to graduation a year ago. Those players left a legacy he hopes the current squad will emulate.
