 TORRES MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Senior catcher Marcos Torres (Miami, FL) had three hits and three runs batted in as the Felician College baseball team defeated Molloy College, 7-3, in non-conference action Sunday morning at the Ripken Experience complex. It was the final game for both teams at the three-day Northeast Challenge.
All of Felician’s offense came early, as the Golden Falcons led, 7-1, after four innings. Torres had an RBI infield single in the first inning and a two-run double in his team’s three-run third. Phil Messerian (Fair Lawn, NJ) (two RBI) and Vince Kossak (Lake Worth, FL) (two stolen bases) each went 2 for 4 with a double, as Felician blasted five two-baggers among an 11-hit attack. |
