WILMINGTON, Del. -- Felician goalkeeper Paulo DosSantos (Toronto, Ontario) saved a shot on a late second-half breakaway to preserve an eventual 1-1 draw with host Goldey-Beacom College on Saturday afternoon. The match was the CACC opener for both schools.

9/15/07 WOMEN'S SOCCER - Late Flurry Carries Women's Soccer Past GBC, 3-1

WILMINGTON, Del. -- Junior Lindsey Petry (Newton, NJ) scored to break a 1-1 tie with 15 minutes, 14 seconds, to play, and the Felician women's soccer team went on to a 3-1 CACC victory over host Goldey-Beacom College on Saturday afternoon.

Petry's goal was assisted by Jenna Krowl (Kearny, NJ), and came just two minutes, 44 seconds, after Goldey-Beacom (0-3, 0-1) had tied the game. Felician received an insurance goal within a minute of Petry's heroics when, on a set piece started by Krowl, Petry flicked a ball to the foot of freshman Tiffany Bledsoe (Clementon, NJ), who got a shot past the goal line at 75:44.

9/15/07 MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY - Felician Eighth Of 23 At NYU

BRONX, N.Y. -- Buoyed by the collegiate debut of freshmen Jay Rodgers (Westmont, NJ) and Brenden Krewer (Farmingdale, NJ) and the continued emergence of sophomore Brad Schepise (Milltown, NJ), the Felician men's cross-country team finished eighth out of 23 schools at the New York University Invitational on Saturday morning at Van Cortlandt Park.

Felician arrived expecting to compete against 10 or fewer teams at Fordham University's Ram Invitational. But the field quickly grew when the Golden Falcons found out that the Fordham and NYU meets had been combined. The pack had no effect on Schepise, who ran a career low 8,000-meter time of 27 minutes, 46 seconds. Schepise edged teammate Mike Burghoffer (Stockholm, NJ) by three seconds to be the team frontrunner, as the duo finished 35th and 36th overall out of 238 competitors.

9/15/07 WOMEN'S CROSS-COUNTRY - Felician Not Scored At Van Cortlandt
Due to scheduling and clerical conflicts at the race site, the members of the Felician women's cross-country team were not officially timed and scored at their meet at Van Cortlandt Park on Saturday. The Ram Invitational and the New York University Invitational were combined into one race, and the official results are posted here.
