 JIMENEZ LYNDHURST, N.J. – Felician College junior left-hander Kristina Jimenez (West Milford, NJ/West Milford) earned the win in both ends of her team’s doubleheader sweep of visiting Chestnut Hill College, 7-3 and 9-0, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference softball action Saturday afternoon at Matera Field. Jimenez pitched a combined 10 scoreless innings on the day and also went 3 for 5 with four runs scored.
In Game 1, Felician (8-19, 3-11) snapped a scoreless tie with seven runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Golden Falcons amassed seven hits in the inning, stole four bases, and took advantage of two Chestnut Hill errors. Nicole Degenhardt (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) and Tiffany Deeubol (Belleville, NJ/Belleville) had RBI singles, Amber Doran (Little Ferry, NJ/Ridgefield Park) drew a bases-loaded walk, and Gina Piserchio (West Orange, NJ/West Orange) capped the rally with a two-run single. |

 DEGENHARDT LYNDHURST, N.J. – Freshman Gina Piserchio (West Orange, NJ/West Orange) laced a go-ahead three-run double and senior Nicole Degenhardt (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) recorded her 100th career base hit as Felician College defeated visiting Pace University, 7-5, to salvage a split of the teams’ non-conference softball doubleheader on Thursday afternoon at Matera Field. Pace had won the day’s opening game, 7-1.
Pace took a 3-1 lead with three runs in the top of the fourth inning of Game 2. In the bottom of the fourth, Felician (6-19) loaded the bases with one out before Piserchio doubled to the left-center gap to put the hosts ahead for good. Kristina Jimenez (West Milford, NJ/West Milford) and Hope Van Dyke (West Milford, NJ/West Milford) had run scoring singles later in the frame. |

 CONTI NEWARK, N.J. -- A three-run home run by freshman Mike Farrell (Lincroft, NJ) keyed Felician College's come-from-behind 6-5 victory in Game 1 of its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference baseball doubleheader against host Bloomfield College on Wednesday afternoon at West Side Park. Danny Conti (Aberdeen, NJ) pitched seven shutout innings as Felician also won Game 2, 9-3.
In the opener, Felician (17-15, 5-3) trailed, 3-1, after six innings when its first two runners reached base in the top of the seventh. Farrell's first career roundtripper gave the Golden Falcons the lead, and the visitors later tacked on two unearned runs in the inning. Bloomfield scored single runs in the seventh and eight, but left the tying and go-ahead runs on base in the eighth and had two runners caught stealing in the final three innings. |
