2/23/10 MEN'S BASKETBALL - With OT Victory, Men's Basketball Reaches 20 Wins

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician College men’s basketball team started the overtime period with a 6-1 run and hung on for an 89-84 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division victory over visiting Concordia (N.Y.) College on Tuesday night at Job Gymnasium. Led by senior Ethan Kennedy’s (Albuquerque, NM/Highland) 21 points on Senior Night, Felician (20-6, 13-4) reached the 20-victory plateau for the first time in the 14-year history of its program.

Concordia trailed, 39-30, at halftime and by as many as 10 points in the early stages of the second half before knotting the game, 45-45, with 13 minutes, 44 seconds to play in regulation. In order to force overtime, the Clippers came back again, erasing an eight-point deficit in the final 4:33, capped by a Brandon Whitaker (Harlem, NY) three-point field goal at the 0:03.4 mark. But Felician never trailed in the extra session. After Concordia cut a five-point deficit to one, Felician’s Ryan Moseley (Teaneck, NJ/Teaneck) nailed a three-pointer with 1:19 to play, and the Golden Falcons converted 7 of 8 free-throw attempts in the final 30 seconds.

2/23/10 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL - Felician Wins, Stays Alive In Playoff Race

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College earned a 74-47 Senior Night victory over visiting Concordia (N.Y.) College in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division women’s basketball action on Tuesday evening at Job Gymnasium. With the win, Felician remains in contention for a berth in the CACC playoffs.

Junior Quay Baskerville (Hartford, CT/Bulkeley) led four Golden Falcon scorers in double figures with 19 points. Freshman Jacqueline Passalacqua (Staten Island, NY/St. Peter’s Girls) recorded season highs of 15 points and eight rebounds in 19 minutes off the bench. Felician (16-10, 10-8) held Concordia to 22 percent shooting from the floor and owned a 55-38 rebounding advantage.

2/21/10 BASEBALL - Felician Falls at Lander, 11-5
GREENWOOD, S.C. – Lander University picked up 16 base hits in its 11-5 non-conference baseball victory over visiting Felician College on Sunday afternoon at Legion Field. Freshman Joe Petosa (Spotswood, NJ/Spotswood) went 2 for 4 with his first collegiate home run for Felician.

2/20/10 BASEBALL - Baseball Begins With Long Trip, Losses At Lander
GREENWOOD, S.C. – The Felician College baseball team began its 2010 season on Saturday afternoon, losing both ends of a non-conference doubleheader to host Lander University, 6-2 and 11-2 at Legion Field. Junior center fielder Mickey Zudonyi (Holmdel, NJ) went 3 for 5 on the day for the Golden Falcons.
