RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College seniors Ethan Kennedy (Albuquerque, NM/Highland) and Janelle Biamonte (Secaucus, NJ/Marist) have been named the 2009-10 Felician Male and Female Senior Student-Athletes of the Year. The duo was honored at the athletics department’s senior banquet on Tuesday night at The Fiesta in Wood-Ridge.

5/4/10 BASEBALL - Baseball Team Advances In CACC Tournament

Mickey Zudonyi is 10 for 11 with seven RBI in his last three games.
LYNDHURST, N.J. -- Junior Mickey Zudonyi (Holmdel, NJ/Holmdel) went 4 for 4 and drove in the go-ahead run as Felician College defeated visiting Chestnut Hill College, 7-4, in the playdown round of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Baseball Tournament on Tuesday afternoon at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex.

Felician (26-22), the No. 3 seed, advances to the double-elimination main draw of the tournament in Wilmington, Del. The Golden Falcons will take on No. 2 seed Dominican (N.Y.) College on Thursday at 3 p.m. at Wilson Field, and play again on Friday at Frawley Stadium at a time to be announced. 5/3/10 BASEBALL - Baseball Team Home For CACC Playdown Round
ImageRUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician College baseball team has qualified for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference playoffs as the No. 3 seed. Felician will host No. 6 seed Chestnut Hill College in the tournament’s playdown round on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex.

This is the first year of the CACC’s playdown round, which is single-elimination and includes seeds 3-6. Tuesday’s winners will advance to the four-team double-elimination portion of the tournament, which will commence on Thursday in New Castle, Del.
