 BIAMONTE ORANGEBURG, N.Y. -- Senior Janelle Biamonte (Secaucus, NJ) scored a career-high 27 points as the Felician College women's basketball team defeated host Dominican (N.Y.) College, 64-50, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division action Thursday evening at the Hennessy Center.
Felician (14-7, 8-5 CACC) ended the first half with a 19-4 run to take a 36-21 lead at the intermission. But Dominican erased nearly all of that deficit in the first six minutes, 10 seconds of the second period, opening the half with an 18-5 spurt. Biamonte's third three-point field goal of the half pushed the lead back to eight at the 8:17 mark, and she scored five straight points for a 60-48 edge with 3:01 to play. In all, she scored 16 of the Golden Falcons' 28 second-half points. |

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician College men’s basketball team used a 56-point second half to defeat visiting Bloomfield College, 90-74, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division action Tuesday night at Job Gymnasium. Bloomfield is in first place in the CACC North and ranked No. 7 in the NCAA Division II East Region.
Junior swingman Devon Young (Monmouth Junction, NJ/South Brunswick) (10-13 FG) led five double-figure scorers for Felician with 22 points and seven rebounds. Kashiff Foster (Somerset, NJ/Rutgers Prep) scored 15 points, and Antoine Obery (Roselle, NJ/Abraham Clark) posted 13 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. The Golden Falcons (16-5, 9-3) moved to within a game of Bloomfield for the division lead with six games to play. |

 Tierra Cleaves scored 22 points with eight assists on Feb. 9, 2010. RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Junior guard Tierra Cleaves (Paterson, NJ/John F. Kennedy) scored a season-high 22 points and handed out eight assists to lead Felician College to an 80-69 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division women’s basketball victory over visiting Bloomfield College on Tuesday evening at Job Gymnasium.
Felician led, 41-34, at halftime, and maintained that seven-point margin with 15 minutes, 57 seconds to play. The Golden Falcons then received five points from Cleaves in an 11-2 run which provided their largest advantage of the night, 61-45. Bloomfield was not able to cut the deficit below double-digits in the final 12 minutes. Felician used a 51-percent shooting night and a 46-36 rebounding advantage to overcome 20 turnovers. |
