PHILADELPHIA – The Felician College women’s soccer team lost in the quartefinals of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament on Tuesday afternoon, falling to top-seeded Philadelphia University, 2-0, at Ravenhill Field. Felician ends its season with a won-lost-tied record of 6-9-2.

11/2/09 WOMEN'S SOCCER - Felician Draws Rams In CACC First Round
ImageRUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Felician College women's soccer team is the No. 8 seed in the 2009 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament. Felician has drawn top-seeded Philadelphia University in Tuesday's tournament quarterfinals.

The match will kick off at 2 p.m. at Philadelphia's Ravenhill Field. Directions are available at www.caccathletics.org/information/directions/philadelphia. There will be an admission charge of $6 for adults and $3 for senior citizens and students with ID.

10/31/09 MEN'S SOCCER - Men's Soccer Finishes With 3-1 Win Over Mercy

LYNDHURST, N.J. – Three different seniors scored goals for the Felician College men’s soccer team in its season-ending 3-1 non-conference Senior Day victory over visiting Mercy College on Saturday afternoon at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex.

Diego Ocampo (Dover, NJ/Dover) sealed the win for the Golden Falcons with a 78th minute goal. Ocampo received a pass across the box from Kevin Sinic (Leibnitz, Austria/Borg Honsberger) and buried a shot into the upper left corner of the net. He scored just one minute, 58 seconds, after Mercy junior Artiz Artoni (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Ejo Maq) had cut the Felician lead to 2-1.

10/31/09 WOMEN'S SOCCER - Explosive Second Half Leads Felician Past Lincoln

LYNDHURST, N.J. – Junior forward Derienne Jacobowitz (Staten Island, NY/Moore Catholic) had two goals and two assists as the Felician College women’s soccer team defeated visiting Lincoln University, 8-1, in non-conference action Saturday afternoon at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex. It was the final match of the regular season for both schools.

Felician freshman Jen Jimenez (Fair Lawn, NJ/Fair Lawn) broke a 1-1 tie with her first career goal on a header in the 28th minute, and her team took the one-goal lead into halftime. The Golden Falcons (6-8-2) then broke the game open with three goals in the first 12 minutes of the second period, and tacked on three more before the final buzzer. Jacobowitz scored or assisted on her team’s first four scores of the match.
