Felician Athletics - Staff Directory

Steve Langan has been a member of the Felician baseball staff since 2002, and the lead assistant and third-base coach since 2004. He is the twin brother of head coach Chris Langan.

Langan is chiefly responsible for the development of the defense, and also serves as the batting instructor. In 2006, the Golden Falcons hit .310 with a then-school-record 35 homeruns, and followed that up with a .313 team average and 48 homers last season.

Langan was an all-state performer at Keyport High School before earning all-CACC accolades at Bloomfield College. He later transferred to Kean University where an injury ended his collegiate career. He received a bachelor's degree from Kean in 1998. The following season, he and brother Chris were non-roster invitees to the major-league spring training of the Kansas City Royals.

Langan is engaged to Nicole Algieri; an April 27, 2008, wedding is planned. He is the owner of the Play Ball Sports Facility in Morganville, and resides in Manalapan.
