Kathy Hill has been Felician's head softball coach since 2002, after one year as a Golden Falcon assistant. She was the 2002 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year.
Hill came to Felician after one year as an assistant at William Paterson College (now University). Before entering the collegiate ranks, she was the head coach at Passaic Valley High School from 1994 to 1999, earning two league coach-of the-year honors.
After earning all-state accolades as a player at Passaic Valley, Hill was a four-year starting outfielder at WPC. As a sophomore in 1990 she became the first All-American in program history, attaining second-team AFCA Division III honors. Her .455 batting average that year is still a single-season school record.
Hill's WPC teams won an ECAC championship and reached three NCAA tournaments. She is a member of the PVHS and WPU Athletic Halls of Fame. She earned a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology from William Paterson in 1992.
Hill played women's majors fastpitch softball for three years following her college graduation, and is still active at the adult Class A level. She formerly worked in Felician's academic advising office. She resides in Totowa with her husband, George, and two children.
