Alan Clements was named the second head coach in Felician volleyball history in May 2007. In his initial season, he led the Golden Falcons to their first CACC Tournament berth.
Clements joined Felician after one year at Bergen Community College. He guided the 2006 Bulldogs to a 13-4 record and regular-season and tournament regional championships en route to being named regional coach of the year.
Prior to coaching Bergen, Clements was the head coach at Fair Lawn High for six years, qualifying for the Bergen County and NJSIAA Tournaments each season. He is a teacher of health, physical education and driver education at Fair Lawn, and is the Cutters' head girls' basketball coach.
Clements earned a BS from Lipscomb College in 1976 and and an MS from Marygrove College in 2002, both in education. A native of Nashville, Tenn., he lives in Fair Lawn.
